On 18 December 2019, SCB organised its second SCB Christmas Lecture. Keynote speaker was Mr Alain Bernard, former CEO of DEME Group. His keynote presentation focused on the contribution of the DEME Group companies to the realisation of the sustainable development goals.
SCB’s chairman, Kurt Deketelaere, started the event with a presentation of SCB and its activities over the past year. Ms Minou Esquenet, Alderwoman of the city of Bruges, highlighted the efforts made by and the challenges for the city of Bruges, to become a sustainable smart city. The lecture was followed by an enjoyable reception.
